The sweeping robot is equipped with infrared sensors. When an obstacle is detected, the sweeping robot will automatically decelerate to avoid touching the obstacle.There are generally more than a dozen sensors on the body of high-end sweeping robots. They are like our eyes and ears, avoiding various obstacles and preventing repeated cleaning and other situations. And low-end products often shrink on the sensor, so that the cleaning robot cannot accurately understand the room situation, thus reducing the cleaning efficiency. Without the sensors, the sweeping robot might not even be able to recharge itself.

Temperature sensor ensures motor safety

In order to prevent the motor from overheating due to continuous operation of the sweeping robot, which leads to the burning of the circuit, two temperature sensors will be installed on the circuit board of the sweeping robot. When the temperature drops to a certain level, another temperature sensor sends a signal to the controller, and the controller controls the cleaning robot to continue to work.

"Self-managing" dust bins

When the dust box is full, it will prompt the user to dump it. This is because the dust sensor in the dust box is in play. When the height of the garbage in the dust box reaches the height of the sensor. It will cause the sensor to transmit the signal to the downstream components such as the controller, and the end user will receive the alarm signal on his mobile phone.

In addition, the dust box sensor can be used to sense whether the dust box is in place. After the dust box is in place, the sensor will be turned off and the device can work normally, avoiding the idling of the sweeping robot without installing the dust box device and protect the core fan of the sweeping robot from damage.

Is the Dust Sensor Wired when Shipped?

Laser dust is wired, infrared dust is not wired.

How to Install and Place the Infrared Dust Sensor?

It must be installed vertically. Keep away from artificial air flow such as fans. When used in air purifiers, the front and rear of the fan cannot be installed. Optionally install it on one side of the shell, but keep vents on the shell to ensure that the external air can diffuse in.

Can the Two Voltages of Mq-7 Exist All the Time, or Do They Need to Be Powered Alternately? if It is an Alternate Power Supply, What is the Appropriate Power Supply Time?

It requires alternate power supply. Please check the information on the product manual. This sensor is powered by 1.5V and 5V alternately. The low temperature and low voltage (1.5V) state can detect CO, and the high voltage (5V) is the desorption process. The recommended 5V voltage duration is 60s, 1.5V voltage duration is 90s to alternately supply power. Since it is a desorption process at 5V, it is normal for the voltage to drop when CO is 150ppm.
